Hi! I’m Kim, an artist, coffee enthusiast, and former creator of some truly hideous latch hook rugs. Seriously, my childhood masterpieces never made it to the wall—but hey, the joy was in the making!

Creativity has always been my thing, but my journey to becoming a painter wasn’t exactly a straight line. I tried painting classes—failed miserably. Switched to photography—enjoyed it, even did it professionally, but something was missing. Then, one fateful day, I saw a Facebook ad for an abstract painting class and thought, Why not? If it’s abstract, no one will know if it’s terrible.

Well, that one class led to another, and another, and suddenly, two years later, I found my style, my voice, and my artistic obsession. Now, I blend abstract backgrounds with realistic type subjects to create pieces that reflect the balance between chaos and order—because let’s be real, life is a mix of both!

When I’m not covered in paint (which is most of the time), I’m at home—because while I may seem outgoing, I’m really an introvert in disguise. You’ll find me reading, hanging out with my husband, or binge-watching Expedition Unknown (Josh Gates, you’re the best).

At the heart of it all, I create art that moves people. Whether it makes you feel something deep, reminds you of your own resilience, or simply makes you say WOW, I’ve done my job.
